30/05/08: This weekend we'll be travelling to Turin for a two day trip (actually for a wedding);
that's an opportunity to beta test a simple application I had been writing: GeoRSScoder.
GeoRSScoder receives georeferenced objects by email from my Nokia N95 (currently photos, tracks and landmarks) , merges all the content and uses the Google Maps API to add it to the map as soon as it is received. Relevant EXIF and IPTC data is extracted from jpeg files. I use GeoNames api calls to do some reverse geocoding and automatically title each shot by location name.
GeoRSScoder doesn't use Flickr.. anyway I thought you might be interested in this application. I will release it as a free service or code for your website.
